Welcome to my little corner in Cape Town.
My Story
German by birth, Cape Town local by heart.
I’m originally from Germany and since I’m young I have always been curious about the world. I absolutely love traveling, meeting new people and exploring new countries & cultures. After graduating from School I wanted to study tourism management, however for these studies I needed to find a place where I could learn fluent English and at the same time, do something meaningful for others! Before I knew it, I was living in Mandalay, Mitchells Plain, Cape Town, working with children at a local primary school and having no choice but to speak English all day. This is also the place where I started my first donation projects to support the children with school supplies and other necessities.
2 days after my arrival, I have already made my decision: South Africa is my new chosen home!
The initially planned 3-months trip turned into a 1 year stay, where I made meaningful connections which are still an important part of my life today. I also got the chance to explore the country outside of Cape Town, during travels and as part of my late studies. Eventually, I had to return to Europe to continue my tourism studies in the Netherlands, but I spent every free minute I could back in Cape Town (and also to escape the European winter 😉 )
After finishing University in 2022, I moved back to Cape Town. This time, permanently.
As I settled into life in the city I had fallen so in love with years before, I wanted to create a way for others to experience this beautiful place that had given me so much. What began as a personal journey eventually led me to hosting guests from all over the world and sharing my favorite corner of Cape Town with them.
Today, I am proud to welcome visitors from all around the world to my apartments and help them create unforgettable memories of their own!
